God, I pray for increased discernment and wisdom for every direction and decision in my life.
I pray for the indwelling of Your Holy Spirit to give me peace beyond my understanding that I may know the plan You have for me is for good and not evil, to bless me and give me a hope and a future according to Jeremiah 29:11.
I believe and trust Your Word that is guiding me even when I cannot see or find it difficult to believe that You are always with me and for me.
Lord, I pray for the discernment of Samuel that when You call me, I answer and obey. As you cause me to mature and cultivate this gift of increased discernment, I pray that every Word you speak through me does not fall to the ground.
Thank you for opening the eyes of my understanding and giving me attentive ears to hear what You are revealing in Your Word, by the Spirit, for my life.
Lord, don’t allow me to walk in fear of the unknown thereby causing me to choose a path of convenience but cause me to be rooted and grounded in love and the truth of Your Word in Ephesians 3:17.
As the Holy Spirit guides me, help me to identify every plot, plan and scheme of the enemy so that I do not get caught in the traps that have been set to confuse my mind, hinder my progress or bring fear and instability in my life.
I pray that I am not deceived by the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes and the pride of life and I thank You for detaching and separating me from the world and what it approves and for granting me the discernment of Solomon to distinguish good from evil. In Jesus name! Amen
