But those who wait for the Lord who expect, look for, and hope in Him, will gain new
strength and renew their power; they will lift up their wings and rise up close to God
like eagles, rising toward the sun; they will run and not become weary, they will walk
and not grow tired. Isaiah 40:31
Father, please help me/us to hear You clearly for the 2020 Vision You have for me and
your church – the body of Christ. I pray that you will fill me with the knowledge of Your
will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding with insights into Your purposes, and
understanding of spiritual things, so that I will walk in a manner worthy of You
displaying admirable character, moral courage, and personal integrity to please You in
all things, bearing fruit in every good work and steadily growing in the knowledge of
God with deeper faith, clearer insight and fervent love for Your precepts. Col. 1:9,10
Father, Your Word says – “Where there is no Vision or Revelation, the people perish or
cast-off restraint – but blessed is the one that heeds instructions.” Prov. 29:18. Please
forgive me for seeking to place my trust in my own limited view of what I consider is
important in my life rather than seeking after Your godly and eternal vision. Help me
Lord, to be obedient to Your Word – I need Your direction more and more. Give me a
divine vision of You, a godly understanding of You and a deeper relationship with You,
because my trust, confidence, and hope comes from You, the author and finisher of my
faith; I want to know You more and love you better. I know this personal relationship
only comes from spending more time in your presence worshipping you for who you are,
daily praying and listening, reading and studying Your word, and allowing your Word to
become flesh to me.
And the Lord answered me, and said, write the vision and make it plain upon tablets,
that he may run that reads it – Habakkuk 2:2
Father, give me a clear vision for my marriage/family, my business/job; give me a vision
for my life – what I’m to do with each day that you have granted me – I refuse to live
passively. I pray vision for my friends, and co-workers, and for every relationship that I
am in. Lord I don’t want to be a part of anything that you are not a part. Give me
wisdom to know what to be a part of and what to walk away from, even when it looks
good.
Father, give us wisdom and a clear understanding of what You are calling for us to do;
and discernment to know what is the desire of Your heart for our lives, so that we may
align our thoughts to Your thoughts, and our will to Your perfect will and purpose in

  1. As we come into alignment with Your vision for us, may that vision come into
alignment with the vision for the church’s (LIC) vision, and we all move together in the
same direction to fulfill Your perfect will across the board for ourselves, our families, our
community and Life in Christ Ministries.
Father, Grant us a clearer vision, we pray, and lead us along the right path we ask, in
    Jesus name, Amen
